This past Saturday, I headed to Raritan NJ for the 47 Industries Unfinished Bike Show. Being a long time pal and client of Mike at 47, I wanted to show my support for such a clever event. Countless bikes in all different stages of completion reaffirmed most of us, that we're not the only ones with non running heaps at the moment. I spent more time catching up with old friends than snapping photos, but this posed an interesting perspective. Whats the true purpose of a bike show? I was wowed by some, caught off guard by others, nitpicked a few, and admired the craft that a lot of these folks spent so much time on with these bikes. But ultimately, the bikes are just eye candy. You came for all those things I mentioned before but really stayed for the company, the laughs, the tech tips, the shit talking, and maybe even a tattoo. Theres a reason why these are the only photos I managed to snap...
